Pamela Jean(Shafer)Perkins, 49, of Findlay, passed away on November 21, 2024, at her residence. She was born on May 13, 1975, in Toledo, OH., the daughter of Daniel Shafer, of Findlay and Kathryn (Hamilton) Shafer, of Rawson. Both parents survive. Her fiancé, Jonny Miller, survives as well.
Pam attended Findlay High School as well as nursing school, in hopes to one day, help as many people as she could. Pam always had a special place in her heart for the elderly and enjoyed spending time with them, and listening to their stories. She learned sign language and also taught it to her children so they could communicate with those who can’t speak. She held different jobs throughout her life, but her most recent was with Bob Evans where she continued the family tradition of working at one of the Findlay locations.
Pam loved to paint, and her beautiful work will be treasured by all. Pam loved fiercely, especially her family. Nothing meant more to her than her family. Her friends and family knew her by her beautiful blue eyes and loud mouth. Everyone knew when Pam arrived! She had a heart of gold and was able to find her person in Jon. He was there for her while she battled her illness and she will be forever in his heart and in the hearts of her family and friends who will forever miss her and cherish the memories. She was an Ohio State Fan, and also a Cleveland Browns, and a Packer fan too! She also enjoyed a NASCAR race or two.
Pam is survived by her children; Gage, Amelia (John) Smith of Findlay, Cole (Cassie) Perkins, US Navy, Gracie Perkins of Findlay, Jonna Miller. Special daughters Jessi, Tamara, Rene Miller. Her siblings are; Amy (Charles) Goble of Carey, Kerrie (James) Burden of Rawson, Rose (Josh) Birt of Oshawa, Ontario Canada. Her grandchildren; Keilan, Elijah, Jackson, and Vivian. Also surviving her are many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Earl and Lila Hamilton, Paternal grandmother; Arla Naftzger, Great niece; Katherine Elaine, and Great Nephew; Maxton Zane. A special daughter Amber Miller.
