Patricia Armentrout Obituary

Patricia 'Patti' Armentrout, 72, of Lima passed away on January 11, 2021 at St. Rita's Medical Center.

Patti was born on April 18, 1948 to the late John and Rose (Burger) Sites. She married the love of her life Neil Armentrout on May 4, 1967 where he resides in Lima. She leaves behind her husband of 54 years and three daughters: Dawn (Bill) Warner of Elida, Angie (Matt) Anthony of Elida and Natalie Basinger of Bluffton; 8 grandchildren: Steven Schleter, Shelby Warner, Ashten Warner, Brady Basinger, Brett Basinger, Brien Basinger, Brooklyn Anthony and Nathan Warner; 5 siblings: Peg (Earl) Masters, Nancy (Michael) Griffith, Rick (Marisa) Sites, Laura (John) Baudo and Dave Sites and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Steve and Dan Sites.

Patti was a 1966 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and was a member of the St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Elks, Moose, and Eagles Lodges. Patti enjoyed her flower gardens, the Florida sunshine, boating, sitting by the fires  and being by the water. Her and Neil loved spending time in Fort Myers, Florida where she loved watching the sunsets and walks on the beach. Patti and Neil spent several Saturdays of their life cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Patti also loved spending time at their cottage at Indian Lake.

Patti was generous, kind hearted, and selfless. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and siblings. She was a rock when someone needed one. Patti loved life and was very social. Patti had so many friends and loved them all. For those that knew Patti she was so much fun and so witty.
