Peggy Ann (Conrad) Meeker

Peggy Ann Meeker, 75, of Grand Rapids, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. She was born on June 30, 1949, to the late Wilbur and Margaret Conrad in Toledo, Ohio. She married James L. Meeker in June of 1973. They were married for twenty four years, before he passed away in 1997.

Peggy is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Black, of Grand Rapids, and a son, Jeffrey Meeker of Aldie, Virginia; grandchildren: Aiden Black, Leland Meeker, and Caelan Meeker; her sister, Nancy (Russ) Everitt; and her brother, Stephen Conrad.

Along with her parents and husband, Peggy was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Morgan Margaret.

After her professional retirement in 2014, she enjoyed spending time watching her grandchildren play various sports, working outside in her yard, and loving her dog, Milli. She was a woman of faith and shared God's love with her family.

A graveside service will be held at Beaver Creek Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Ohio on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00AM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 11:30AM-2:00PM at the Grand Rapids Town Hall, 24282 Front St, Grand Rapids, Ohio, 43522, HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, Grand Rapids, has been graciously entrusted with Peggy's care.
