Peggy Schwan

Peggy Schwan, 81, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away April 16, 2024. Peggy was born on August 9, 1942 to the late Marion and Mildred (Foor) Emahiser.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Shelley (Rick) Heyman; sons: Keith Winters, Michael Schwan; grandchildren: Kristen, Kelly, Justin, Crystal, Cloey; 14 great grandchildren: sisters Faye Seel, and Sue Taylor and first husband John Winters. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Michael “Mick” Schwan; brothers Charles, Robert, Delbert, and Leo.

Peggy worked for over 40 years in the housekeeping department of Swanton Valley Nursing Home. She loved to be outside doing yardwork, gardening, and tending her flowers. Peggy was a member of the Eastern Stars.  She will be greatly missed

Visitation for Peggy will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Hanneman Funeral Home, 302 E. Maple Street, Liberty Center, Ohio from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
