Phyllis Ann Henry, 94, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. Born on August 19, 1930, in Fremont, Ohio, to the late Harry and Minnie Decker, Phyllis brought light and laughter to everyone she met.
Phyllis was a dedicated office manager for over 30 years. She balanced her career with a cherished role as a mother and grandmother. A woman who was always smiling, Phyllis embraced life with an enthusiasm that was infectious. Her heart was full of love for her family, and she especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard Henry, and her daughter, Janice Brandyberry.
Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Karen McClary; grandchildren, Joshua (Mindy) Brandyberry, Christian (Becky) Brandyberry, Todd (Ashley) Brandyberry; great-grandchildren: Brody (Anjuli) Brandyberry, Emily Brandyberry, Parker Brandyberry, Aubree Brandyberry; great-great-grandchildren, Mason Brandyberry, Westin Brandyberry, family friend, Sandy Webb, and host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Each of them will carry forward her spirit of adventure and joy.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM-7:00PM at Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S Arch St, Fremont Ohio. A funeral service honoring Phyllis's memory will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11:00AM at Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home. Immediately following the service Phyllis's will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Fremont, Ohio.
Though she may have departed from this world, Phyllis's spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Let's come together to celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart forever cherished.
