Rachel Lashaway Obituary

Rachel E. Lashaway, 98, of Weston passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the Meadows of Ottawa.

Rachel was born on June 8, 1924 in Weston, Ohio to the late Jay and Marie (Holzhauer) Lashaway. Rachel had a twin brother Matthew who passed away on April 5, 2005, another brother Nathan who passed away December 13, 1944 and her younger sister Lois Lashaway who passed away on November 2, 2019.

Rachel worked at the Mid-Am Bank for many years and turned into Sky Bank. Rachel was an organist at the Milton Center Presbyterian Church for a few years and lived in Milton with her dear friend Ruth Creps and family after Ruth’s husband passed away and she then moved to Weston.

A Private Burial was held in the Weston Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hanneman Funeral Home, Weston.
