Richard Klopp

Richard L. Klopp, 77, of Burgoon, OH, passed away March 7, 2025, at his home from health complications. He was born June 7, 1947. He is survived by a sister; Shirley (Allan) Brelsford, a brother; James Klopp of Burgoon, a niece; Alison (Jon) Weaver, a great niece; Joanna, a great nephew Nathan, and a cat Suzie. Preceding him in death were his parents; Warren and Anna Lou Klopp and sister-in-law; Sherry Klopp. 

He graduated from Lakota High School in 1965, then attended Art Academy in Cincinnati, OH.  Richard served in the Air Force for 4 years. He was a commercial artist at the former Lesher Printers in Fremont his whole career. He loved photography, just finished taking pictures of orchids at the Toledo Zoo two weeks ago. His real passion was buying and selling old tools at Flea Markets, especially antique wooden planers. 

Visitation will be held at Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, OH 43420, on Friday March 14, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor Mike Holcomb. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery in Jackson Township. Memorial contributions can be made to Christ Church of Burgoon.
