Richard Miller Obituary

Richard H. Miller, 90, of Republic, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

Richard was born on October 24, 1929 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late John and Eva (Heabler) Miller. He married Jean Bentzien on November 12, 1955 in Sherman Oaks, California and she survives. Also surviving are her daughters Kathy (Robert) Singleton of Peoria, Arizona, Linda (James) Wurm of Republic, Ohio and Sharon (Derek) Williams of Brunswick, Ohio; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a daughter in law Kathy Miller. He was preceded in death by his son John Miller.

Richard worked for the G.E Lamp Plant in Bellevue and loved working on his family farm. He was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau. Richard was an avid of the Cleveland Indians and the Ohio State University Buckeyes. Richard was a mechanic who could fix anything. He enjoyed working out in his yard. The most important part of Richard’s life was his family. He was a generous and loving, husband, father and grandfather.

A Private Service will be held in Richard’s honor in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 1295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, with Pastor Michael Padula, officiating. Interment with Military honors will follow in the Attica Venice Cemetery. A Public Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Attica United Methodist Church at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard’s honor to the Autumnwood Care Center, Heartland Hospice or to the Attica United Methodist Church.
