Rick Altman, 53, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away February 18, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Rick was born on August 24, 1966 to the late Ronald and Dorothy (Woodruff) Altman in Lima, Ohio. He married Robin Wymer on May 11, 1995 in Napoleon, Ohio and she survives.
Rick is survived by his wife of almost 25 years Robin; daughters: Jaricka Altman, Sydni Altman, Kristin (David) Carrisalez; son Jarren Altman; grandchildren: Matthew and Meah Carrisalez; sisters: Rhonda (Paul) Hoffman, Cindy (Ken) Grey, Candy Altman, Melinda (Joe) Altman-Click, Heather (Kevin) Morris; and brother Michael (Patti) Altman.
Rick worked for A.A. Boos & Son as a mechanic. He loved to be outdoors and loved to fish and hunt. Rick was a handyman who could fix anything. Although Rick was known to be stubborn and strong-willed, he selflessly gave of himself, never expecting anything in return. However, he also was funny, and witty along with being crafty, and resourceful. Rick’s favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a man of a few words, but he always made his point. Family was very important to Rick and he was always there for his kids, and grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all.
