Rita Huelskamp

Rita Annesser Huelskamp, 97, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in Lima.

She was born on June 9, 1923, in Ottawa, Ohio to August and Adelia Roof Anneser, who preceded her in death. On May 14, 1949, she married Stanley Huelskamp at St Rose Catholic Church in Lima. Mr. Huelskamp died in 2002.

Mrs. Huelskamp worked in the business office at St. Rita’s Medical Center for 27 years, retiring in 1985.

Survivors include a son, Gregory (Edward Bader) Huelskamp of Lima, two grandchildren, Amelia “Kit” Huelskamp of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Jessica Huelskamp of Grand Rapids, Michigan, one great-grandchild, Jackson Morris also of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and a sister Mary Alice “Tommie” Annesser Cash of Dayton, Ohio.

Mrs Huelskamp was also preceded in death by an infant son, Robert James Huelskamp, four brothers, Paul, James, Robert, and John Annesser, and three sisters, Mary Catherine Annesser Westrick, Rhea Annesser Maurer, and Ruth Ann Annesser Hohenbrink.

Rita’s Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 12:30 PM in the St. Rose Catholic Church, 523 N. West St., Lima, Ohio 45801, The Very Rev. David Ross, celebrant. There will be no visitation due to COVID-19 concerns. Private Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery at a later date. Rita’s Mass will be livestreamed on the church’s website www.stroselimaohio.org. Those attending the Mass are asked to wear mask and practice social distancing.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Hanneman-Siferd Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Rd., Lima, Ohio 45805.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church, St. Rose School, Lima Central Catholic High School or the charity of the donors’ choice.
