Obituary
Robert J. Arrington, 72, of McComb passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
Robert was born on December 27, 1950 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Wilbur and Mary (Altman) Arrington. He married Cynthia Basinger on December 27, 1971 and she survives in McComb. Also surviving is his son, Scott D. (Angela S.) Arrington ; grandchildren: Cody R. Arrington and Ashley M. Arrington and siblings: Sandra Berger, Linda Smith and Madeline Leaf. He was preceded in death by his daughter Shevell Arrington and a brother David Arrington.
Robert worked at Phillips in Ottawa for nearly 28 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Robert volunteered for McComb Fire and Ems Department. He also oversaw the Cookie Fest Parade. Robert enjoyed camping, especially at Sulfur Lake in Arlington and travelling to southern Ohio. But most of all, Robert loved spending time with his family.
Visitation for Robert will be on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of his Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM in the HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 370 S. Park Dr., McComb, Ohio 45858. Burial will follow in McComb Union Cemetery, where Military honors will be rendered by the Hancock County Memorial Squad.
Memorial Contributions in Robert’s honor may be made to Bridge Hospice.
