Robert E. Bennett

Robert E. Bennett , 82, of Lima, Ohio returned to his Heavenly Father on March 15, 2025 . He was born to the late Gale H. and Mary M. Bennett (Recker) on October 19,1942. He leaves to cherish his memory a brother Gary Bennett (Janet) and sisters, Karen Hansgen ( Richard)  and Nancy Rader (Mike).Robert was a graduate of St. Peter and Paul High School in 1962. He also served as a Captain in the U.S Army with two tours in the Vietnam War .Received a Bachler’s Degree in 1970 from Ohio State University . Active member in the American Legion ,VFW and Vietnam Veterans . Robert was also an active member at Saint  Luke Lutheran Church in Lima, Ohio .

Memorial Services are on Friday March 28 ,2025 at 1 PM with visitation hours at 11 AM until time of service. Military Honors will be conducted at Allen Town Cemetery following services. Memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warriors and Saint Luke Lutheran Church .Hanneman-Siferd Funeral Home is honored to be handling the services at the funeral home.
