Robert Alan Truesdale

Robert Alan Truesdale, 52, of Lima, passed away on June 20, 2022, at 7:30 am at his residence. He was born on April 18, 1970, the son of Jerry Alan Truesdale and Virginia Mae (Freed) McClure. His Father, Mother, and Step-Father who raised him, J.D. McClure, all preceded him in death.

Robert was a Veteran of the United States Army, and served in the liberation of Kuwait, as well as in Southeast Asia. He was very proud of his service to his country. He was a drywall installer in civilian life, and also had worked as a truck driver. He was a past member of the FOE 370 Eagles, in Lima.

Robert is survived by his daughter: Santanna Truesdale of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, and two sons; Brennan Truesdale and Anthony Truesdale, both of Washington State. He has 2 brothers; Jeremy (CeCe) Truesdale of Lima and Jerry Truesdale of Lima. Robert had 3 grandchildren. He was very much loved and will be missed by his family and friends.  In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a sister; Jauntina Dee.  

There will be a Celebration of Robert’s life on Saturday June 25, 2022, at HANNEMAN-SIFERD FUNERAL HOME, 506 N. Cable Rd., Lima Ohio 45805 from `1-3pm, with Military Honors provided by the US Army, the combined VFW/American Legion, and the Patriot Guard Riders, and service immediately following at 3pm. Robert’s wishes were to be cremated, and a Celebration of his life take place. Robert was a casual person, please dress in casual attire. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Truesdale Family.
