Ronald E. Baney, 84, of North Baltimore, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. He was born on January 8, 1941, to the late Harold E. and Helen L. (McFarland) Baney in Findlay, Ohio. He married Rosie (Hoffman) in 1988, and she preceded him in death on March 27, 2019.
Ron is survived by his three children: Jeffery (Sylvia) Baney, Tadd (Kimberly) Baney, and Heath (Amber) Baney; his loving companion, Patricia Ricketts; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rick Hoffman He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rosie; sister, Denise Hoffman; and a grandson, Bryce Baney.
Ron was a 1959 graduate of Findlay High School. He worked for Cooper Tire and Rubber, as a tire builder, and retired after 36 years of service. He enjoyed collecting classic cars, especially liking Corvettes, and riding motorcycles. He loved to watch The Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Visitation for Ron will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 10:00AM, until the time of a funeral service at 1:00PM, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 South Park Dr, McComb, Ohio, 45858. Burial will follow at McComb Union Cemetery. Those in attendance are asked to dress comfortably and to wear their favorite Ohio State gear. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Alzheimers Association, or Bridge Home Health and Hospice, Findlay, Ohio.
