Ruby A (Herr) Kaetzel

Ruby A. Kaetzel, 97, beloved Mother, Spouse, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Mother-in-law, was called to her eternal resting place on October 23, 2025. She was entered this world on April 3, 1928 in Milton Center, Ohio, born to the late Harlan and Geneive (Whitehead) Herr.

Ruby married William "Bill" Kaetzel on May 17, 1947 in Weston, Ohio, and he precedes her in death. Bill and Ruby were happily married for 75 years at the time of his passing. She worked for Cain's Potato Chips along with her sister, Curly and brother-in-law Harley Cox. Se was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 45 in Bowling Green, OH.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly (Mark) O'Donnell; Grandchildren, Dylan Borton, Nicholas Thomas, and Jonathan Thomas; and Great-Grandchildren, Gage Thomas, Cora Thomas, and Jonathan Thomas, Jr.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Bill.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral service to celebrate her life will begin a 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery.
