Ruth F. Bandeen

Ruth Bandeen, 89, of Bowling Green passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Ruth was born on Kelleys Island, Ohio to the late William and Hazel (Dining) Lange.  She married Leland Bandeen on October 20, 1951 in Sandusky, Ohio. Ruth is survived by her two sons: James L. (Mary) Bandeen, of Dublin, Ohio; Hal D. (Susan) Bandeen, Of Peoria, Arizona; grandsons: Monte (Victoria) Bandeen, of Oregon, Ohio; Matthew (Becky) Bandeen of Peoria, Arizona and four great-granddaughters: Emma, Hailey, Ada Ray, and Isabella Bandeen.  Along with her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by a son: Rex L. Bandeen, her parents; a brother William Lange and a sister Esther (Lange) Carison. Ruth was a graduate of Clyde High School and a graduate of Bowling green State University. Ruth taught elementary education for 27 years in the Eastwood Local District. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bowling Green and also an associate member of the First United Methodist Church in Palmetto, Florida. Ruth enjoyed her family, cruises, playing cards with family and friends, going to the beach, and visiting Kelleys Island. 

A memorial service is planned for a later date.
