Ruth L (Morgan) Nunley

Ruth L. Nunley, 92, of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at her home. She was born March 4, 1929 in Athens, Alabama. On August 24, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN, she married Gene Nunley and he preceded her in death on December 27, 1993. Ruth worked in physical therapy at the former St  Francis Home, Green Springs retiring in 1991 after 26 years of service.

She is survived by her daughters: Sharon (Audley) Estep, Theodosia (Mark) Heishman, Revonda Anderson,  sons: Karl (Nancy) Nunley and Gerald (Sylvia) Nunley, 20 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her father: Gilbert Morgan, step-father: Al Weaver, mother: Grace (Gaffney) Weaver, daughters: Carolyn Partlow, Shelia Guilkey, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 2 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be 2-8pm, Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Hanneman-Chudzinski-Keller Funeral Home & Crematory, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, OH 43420.  Funeral Services will be conducted 11am, Monday, May 3, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
