Sarah "Sue" (Tennant) Wooten passed away at her residence on January 25, 2025. She was born September 11, 1959, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late Ernest and Isabelle (Lydick) Tennant. She married her high school sweetheart, Carl Wooten, on September 14, 1996, spending 47 wonderful years together, and he survives in McComb.
She is survived by her children Amber Wooten, and step-son, Todd (Amy) Guear; step-grandchildren, Celia and Drake Guear; father-in-law William Wooter; siblings Ernie Tennant, Art Tennant, Kay (Tom) Feeney, and Jeanie (Dan) Powers; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law Darlene Wooten; and sisters Mary-Ann Dickey, Dora Rucker and Cathy Cunnigham.
Sarah was a 1978 graduate of Findlay High School. She retired in 2016 from Blanchard Valley Health System where she worked in Environmental Services, as well as many years at Cooper Tire.
Sarah was known for her contagious smile and wonderful sense of humor (remember, she was with Carl for 47 years!). She enjoyed all kinds of crafts, diamond dot paintings, playing computer games, and loved to spend time with her crazy daughter, Amber, as well as the rest of the family. Sarah also loved to listen to music, especially the oldies, with Donny Osmond being her favorite. Sarah shared the love of sports with her family, especially the Cincinnati Reds being her favorite.
Visitation for Sarah will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 4:00PM until the time of a funeral service at 6:30PM, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Drive South, McComb, Ohio, 45858, with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating.
