Obituary
Sharon Shirkey, 83, of Rudolph passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green.
Sharon was born on February 24, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Ellery and Anna (Hodapp) Gast . She married Paul Shirkey on October 24, 1986 and he survives in Rudolph. Also surviving are her children: Robin Null of Rudolph, April (Chuck) Farmer and John (Patty) Reuss of Texas and Scott Reuss of Bowling Green; sister Diane Hartman of Colorado; 3 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tina Reuss.
Sharon retired from Bowling Green State University, where she worked in the Payroll department. Sharon enjoyed coloring, working outdoors in her flower garden and her yard, something she was good pride of. Sharon and Paul where inseparable, they enjoyed shopping together and their weekly dinner trips, when you saw Sharon, Paul was right there with her.
Services for Sharon will be held in the Spring with a date and time to be announced.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, Bowling Green.
