Shirley Reynolds

Pastor Shirley Reynolds, 77, of Findlay went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Blanchard Valley Hospital.

Shirley was born in Lexington, Kentucky on September 9, 1943 to the late Levi and Josephine (Davis) Taulby. She married Pastor Robert L. Reynolds on June 30, 1962 and he preceded her in death in May 13, 2006. Shirley is survived by her children: Candi (Chuck) Cantrell of Fremont, Robert (Kris) Reynolds of Van Buren and Israel (Ashley) Reynolds of Findlay; daughter-in-law, Amy Reynolds; grandchildren:  Alyssa, Cala, Brandan, Amber, Taylor, Brooke, Gina, Kris, Zoey and Sammy; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister Patricia Suydam of Findlay and her best friend Donna McBeath. She was preceded in death by her son Timothy Reynolds and a grandchild Dakota Reynolds.

Shirley along with her husband Pastor Bob co Pastored Hope Temple in Findlay and also built and pastored Charity Christian Church in Findlay as well as New Beginnings Church in Findlay as well as pastoring in Tennessee. Shirley was a prayer warrior and loved the Lord dearly. After her husband passing in 2006, Shirley returned to Findlay serving as an Elder at Cross Way Ministries. She enjoyed shopping, praise and worship, praying for others, good shopping trip or a Hallmark movie. Shirley also loved her family dearly. She truly cherished the time she spent with them and emulated the love that Jesus Christ had with everyone she came in contact with.

Visitation for Shirley will be on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. Shirley’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:30 AM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, with her dear and best friend Donna McBeath, officiating. Interment will follow in the Knollcrest Cemetery. Shirley’s services will be livestreamed on the Hanneman Funeral Home Findlay & McComb Facebook Page.
