Stacy Alan Overmier

Stacy A. Overmier, 77, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away November 9, 2022. Stacy was born on April 11, 1945 in Wauseon, Ohio to the late Frank S. and Zora V. (Murry) Overmier. 

Stacy’s first job was a being a barber. He also farmed, managed the Henry County Landfill, and ran the cattle ranch in Liberty Center where Davis Farm Services is currently. Stacy worked for Shelly Company & S.E. Johnson Company doing road construction until his retirement.  He served as a fireman and fire chief for the Liberty Center Fire Department.  One of the most important part of his life were his horses.

Stacy is survived by his daughters Trisha Ross, Trudi Jo Overmier, Brooke Overmier; sons: Brent (Sara) Overmier, Troy (Gretchen)Overmier; grandchildren: Leah (Brandon) Shaver, Meagan Ross, Brie Ross, Madison Overmier, Mylee Overmier, Makenzie Overmier, Timothy (Aubrey) Overmier, Lauren (Daniel) Crowe, Lindsey (Justin) Joseph, Logan (Cory) Balog-Kwapich, Brandon Overmier; and a host of loving great grandchildren. Stacy was preceded in death by his parents, sister Karol Beilharz and brother Stewart Overmier.

Visitation for Stacy will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 1:00 - 7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 302 E. Maple Street, Liberty Center, Ohio. Private Graveside services will be held for the family at Morrison Cemetery.
