Thomas I Hillier, 81, of Weston, Ohio passed away on March 15, 2022. He was born on November 21, 1940 to that late Howard and Betty (Loomis) Hillier in Bowling Green. He married Mary Ann (Moore) Hillier on June 26, 1960 and she survives him.
Thomas is also survived by his children: Tina (Jeff) Emmerich; Steve (Robin) Hillier and Diane Hillier; (4) grandchildren: Joshua (Jeanne) Emmerich, Heather Emmerich, Clay Edwards, and Cole Hogrefe; (4) great-grandchildren: Angela, Benjamin, Jackson, and Laynie; siblings; Gary (Shelly) Hillier and Carol (Roy) Naugle. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother John Richard "Dick", and a great-grandson Daniel Harvey.
Thomas owned and operated Main Street Station in Weston until he retired in 2008. He was an avid golfer, loved spending time with his grandkids and watching them play sports. He also enjoyed watching Otsego football games. He was a Ranger at Stone Ridge Golf Course for many years. He enjoyed ushering for the home BGSU football games. He also enjoyed bowling, and was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Detroit Lions and Tigers. Thomas was a member of the Weston Church of Christ, Maumee/BG Elks Lodge 1850, and was a "Past Exalted Ruler" of the Elks Lodge 818.
A visitation for Thomas will be held on July 16, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of his memorial service at 11:00am at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Burial will immediately follow at Weston Cemetery.
