Tommy R. Wireman, age 69 of Elida, passed away at 6:00 am September 6th, 2020 at his residence.
He was born March 17th, 1951 in Lima, OH to Ray and Mary Jo (Bazill) Wireman. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Lima. On October 7th, 1972 in Lakeview, OH, he married Sharon (Craft) Wireman, his wife and love of his life of 47 years who survives in Lima.
Tommy retired from the Lima Refining Company in 2014 after 34 years as a Maintenance Senior Planner/Supervisor. He was a member of Lima Baptist Temple for 44 years. Tom was a wise, God-fearing man who always put Jesus first. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who loved his family with his whole heart.
He is survived by: a son, Tommy (Brittney) Wireman, and a daughter, Christa (Jamie) Frye; 1 brother, Todd Wireman, 4 sisters: Terri (Kevin) Haver, Pam (Jim) Flanigan, Paula Rogers, and Penny Marshall. 8 Grandchildren: Abby Stoll, Gracie Stoll, Kaden Overholt, Will Wireman, Claire Wireman, Ava Frye. Phil (Tiffany) Frye and Dena Frye. 2 Great-Grandchildren: Jaxson and Kaysen Frye. He was preceded in death by: a mother-in-law and father-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.
Friends may call from 4 to 8pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the HANNEMAN-SIFERD FUNERAL HOME, 506 N. Cable Rd, Lima and also from 10-11 am at Lima Baptist Temple on Wednesday September 9, 2020. Funeral Services will follow at 11am, with Pastor Al Elmore officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Baptist Temple or the donor’s choice.
