Virginia Grose

Virginia L. Grose, 91 of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay after a battle with pneumonia and COPD.

Virginia was born on August 3, 1929  to the late Joe and Mildred (Digby) Norway . She married Lester Grose in 1946 and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1984.

Virginia is survived by her children Terry (Joyce) Grose and Debra Grose both of Findlay; grandchildren: Cari Young, Kristine (Todd) Curlis, Kelli Rader and Troy Rader; great-grandchildren: Jessica Myers, Nicole McNamee, Amanda Aukerman, Ashley Line, Emiley Rader, McKenzie Curlis, Connor Curlis, Allison Rader and Ethan Rader and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Randy Grose and siblings: Norma, Grace, George and Charles.

Virginia worked for the Hancock County Herald in McComb as a linotype operator. Virginia along with her husband Lester owned and operated Roll-A-Way Lanes and Snack-N-Dough restaurant in McComb. Virginia enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Most of all, Virginia cherished the time she spent with her family.

Visitation for Virginia will be on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Dr S., McComb, Ohio 45858.  Virginia’s Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the McComb Union Cemetery.
