Wanda Drayton

Wanda Gene Drayton, 74, of Bowling Green passed away on October 12, 2023.  She was born on August 25, 1949 in Harlen County, Kentucky.  She married Allen Drayton and they were together until he passed away.

Wanda is survived by her children: Angela Drayton and Jeri Drayton-Lewis; 6 grandchildren: Gena Marie, Samantha, Meghan, Harly, Tessa, and Emma; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters; and 2 brothers.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Eugene and Gladys Smith; husband; and 3 brothers: Howard, Nolan, and Jerry.

Wanda made several long lasting friendships while worked for Capital Plastics and last at Toledo Mold and Dye.  She enjoyed camping and traveling to anywhere her motorcycle could take her.  She was a member of the Moose, Eagles, the VFW and was a life time auxilary member of the Amvets .

Contributions in her honor may be gifted to Bridge Hospice. 

Visitation for Wanda will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 3:00 pm until the time of her funeral service at 5:00 pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green. A dinner to celebrate Wanda's life will immediately follow the funeral at the Eagles in Bowling Green.
