William D. Owsley, 71, of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2024 at Toledo Hospital. He was born June 8, 1953 to the late William A. and Alafair (McDaniel) Owsley in Monroe MI. On August 21, 1999, Bill married his loving wife, Irene (Alejandro).
Bill was honored to have served his country with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After returning from his service, he went on to work as a Project Manager at Honeywell. He loved being out of the rode on his Harley-Davidson.
Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his wife of 25 years; children, William L. (Patricia), Matthew, and Ashley; stepsons, Paul Cruz Jr and Jose Cruz. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Visitation will be held on Friday October 18, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home 416 South Arch Street, Fremont Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday October 19, 2024 at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Fremont, OH following funeral services.
