William Charles Westhoven, 99, of Liberty Center, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at his residence.  He was born on November 4, 1925, to the late Francis and Mary Alta (Faeth) Westhoven. He married the love of his life, Anna Marie (Dagostino), and she preceded him in death in 2013.  William proudly served in the United States Army from 1950-1952, during the Korean War.

William is survived by his children: Kathleen (Tom) Badenhop, Richard (Janet) Westhoven, Diane (Mike) Keller, Deborah (John) McClure, Chris Westhoven, and Maureen (Chris) Peper; sixteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and siblings: Virginia Schuster, Gerald Westhoven, Katherine Thompson, and Norrine Hoeffel; and sisters-in-law Jean Westhoven, Joann Westhoven, and Janet Westhoven.

In addition to his parents and wife, William was preceded in death by his siblings: Rita Westhoven,  Donald (Katie) Westhoven, Jim Westhoven, MaryAnn (Richard) Widdowson, Paul Westhoven, Eugene Westhoven, and Anthony Westhoven; brothers-in-laws: Joe Schuster, Jim Thompson, and Bill Hoeffel; and sister-in-law Alma Westhoven.

William was a lifelong resident of Liberty Center, and was faithfully devoted to three things: Faith, Family and Farming.  He attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, Ohio, for his entire life, being the eldest member at the time of his passing.  He dutifully prayed the rosary.  In his spare time, he enjoyed having coffee with his family, playing cards with his siblings, and watching Notre Dame football with his wife and family.
